The Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine has provided the lyceum-boarding school “The Cadet Corps” with aid charitable assistance to
Kyiv lyceum-boarding school No23 “The Cadet Corps” which is under the patronage of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine has celebrated the Holiday of the Last Bell and graduation ceremony of “11-A” form cadets. The ceremony was in keeping with the best traditions of military educational institutions, including Cadet waltz, and the oath of allegiance to the Motherland, and flag farewell and marching in step with the music of a military band. Of course, in the future, for various reasons, not all boys will wear on shoulders officers’ epaulettes, but there can be no doubt, that they have become true patriots of Ukraine.

On the eve of Victory Day on a visit to the SZRU was People’s Artist of Ukraine Volodymyr Talashko, who not merely talked on his acting life, but also shared his own thoughts on the various difficult moments of our history.

Today, we, together with all the Ukrainian people and progressive mankind are celebrating the 70th anniversary of the victory over Nazism in Europe! This great and truly sacred date symbolizes not just the victory of civilized mankind over savageness of Nazi circles, but also reminds us of the enormous efforts that hundreds of millions of people had to make in order to gain the right to state sovereignty, territorial integrity and national identity.

The staff of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine have held a series of celebrations to mark the 70th anniversary of the victory over Nazism in Europe. Taking into consideration the specificity of the activity, intelligence officers and those who now ensure protection of national interests from the foreign aggression, do understand not only the horror of the tragedy and humanitarian catastrophe of the middle of the twentieth century, which led to the deaths of millions of people and destruction of European culture, but also potential consequences of what could have happened to our civilization if fascism had won.

May 5, officers of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine and veterans took part in the Patriotic Youth Forum “Two Generations – Two Wars,” which was held on the initiative of the Lyceum- Boarding School #23 “The Cadet Corps” patronized by the SZR of Ukraine. The event was dedicated to honoring the Ukrainian people’s heroism in World War II, honoring the memory of the fallen soldiers in the struggle for freedom of our Motherland, marking the 70th anniversary of the victory over Nazism in Europe and the 70th anniversary of the end of the Second World War.
