The SZRU Chairman’s Greetings to the Staff of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine on Dignity and Freedom Day

Dear Colleagues!

Through centuries, the Ukrainian people had been seeking freedom, independence, national identity. On the difficult and thorny path of creating our own state, we, as well as other nations, had victories and defeats, but Ukrainians persistently and selflessly had been going to their cherished dream.
What our fathers and grandfathers had been fighting for throughout Ukraine’s history, came true in the modern history of the country as a result of the Orange Revolution of 2004 and the Revolution of Dignity of 2013. Today we pay tribute to those who, having stood up for democratic values, showed true patriotism and courage, bravely defended our country’ s national interests and its European choice.

Having chosen the European path of development, unfortunately, we must again counteract the creeping hydra of Russia’s hybrid aggression, which once again in our history is trying to suppress the Ukrainians’ desire to live freely in their own country, to decide on their own destiny, to speak Ukrainian.

There is no doubt that in the struggle for freedom of our nation we will win and defend our people. Together with our partners and allies we will drive out the enemy from the occupied territory of the Crimea and Donbas. We will build a strong, self-sufficient, economically developed country.

We are on the right and only path possible for thriving of the Ukrainian State. Let’s remember this and do everything for our Victory, for the bright future of our children!

Glory to Ukraine!

With deep respect,

Chairman of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine   Ye. Bozhok
