President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy Has Held a Closed-Door Meeting Because of the Aggravation of the Situation in Belarus

Due to the sharp aggravation of the situation in the Republic of Belarus, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has held a closed-door meeting with heads of intelligence services of Ukraine, heads of law enforcement agencies, as well as heads of a number of regional state administrations. The President pointed out that the events in Belarus can significantly affect Ukraine.

During the meeting, in detail were analyzed the domestic political situation in Belarus itself, and external factors that may influence the development of post-election events.

All possible scenarios for further development of today's internal political aggravation in the neighboring country (including various types of escalation, taking into consideration the so-called hybrid types of global conflicts) were also estimated.

Besides, the risks were analyzed which Ukraine would face directly due to this or other development of the situation.

Following the meeting, relevant conclusions were drawn and instructions were given.
