Day of Remembrance of the Defenders of Ukraine

Today, at the time when our state is going through the hardest trial in its recent history – the armed struggle for independence from the russian aggressor, the whole country honors the memory of defenders who died defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

In this war, we already have thousands of wounded and killed defenders – Ukrainian warriors and volunteers, who at the cost of their lives destroyed the myth of the invincibility of the russian army, and the victory of our military gave the country new heroes – men and women of the Ukrainian Army and security forces.

I believe that without patriotism, dedication and love for the native land, it is impossible to build a strong, independent and successful state, for whose happy future our compatriots continue to die.

So on the Day of Remembrance of the Heroes, let's remember each defender who gave his/her life for Ukraine, who defends our country today.
