The Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund has approved a new four-year Extended Fund Facility (EFF) program for Ukraine. It provides for financing in the amount of US$8.1 billion for the needs of Ukraine’s state budget. Ukraine is supposed to receive the first tranche of US$1.5 billion in the near future.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Estonia Margus Tsahkna has said that the death of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei constitutes reputational damage to the kremlin. “The death of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei shows that moscow is unable to support its allies”, added the Minister.
