Ukraine Intensifies Efforts to Return Its Prisoners of War: Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine Took Part in a Meeting of the Council of the Coordination Headquarters

The Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War, together with the involved structures, in particular the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, are continuously working to find and release Ukrainian defenders and civilians held in russian captivity.
On Tuesday, April 15, Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine Oleh Ivashchenko took part in a meeting of the Council of the Coordination Headquarters to discuss the return of prisoners, the priority of exchanges and the intensification of negotiations.
The Council adopted a number of organizational decisions. In particular, it agreed on the work of regional groups, including the Crimean representative office, which is to be launched in May. The members of the Council also discussed the possibility of public participation in the activities of the Coordination Headquarters, in particular in the public council.
In addition, support centers for relatives of prisoners of war have recently been opened in Lviv, Vinnytsia, Mykolaiv and Kharkiv.
The Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine reminds: in more than three years of full-scale war with russia, 4,306 Ukrainians have been brought back home. The work continues – none of our citizens will be forgotten!
