Amid the Financial Decline, russia Is Building Propaganda Centers for Young People

The rf’s federal budget deficit in the first half of 2025 reached $47 billion. This figure is five times higher than in the same period last year, which indicates the aggressor’s significant financial problems.

The Krasnoyarsk Territory, one of russia’s key industrial centers, produces more than 70 % of the country’s nickel, 35 % of its aluminum, and over 90 % of its platinum metals. It is also home to more than 30 oil and gas fields. However, the region’s gasification rate is only about 20 %, which contrasts sharply with the russian average of 73.8 %. moscow promises to increase this figure by 2028, but only if the “Power of Siberia 2” gas pipeline is built, the future of which depends entirely on China.

Amid all the problems, the authorities of the Krasnoyarsk Territory have found funds for the kremlin’s another propaganda whim. A tender has been announced for the design and construction of a youth palace worth about $65 million. The facility is intended for the “Movement of the First” – an all–russian children’s and youth organization that putin created immediately after the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. It has already been dubbed the “new pioneers”.

The palace, which will have two buildings with a total area of almost 30,000 square meters, is intended to become a center for the education of “future imperial youth”. The project includes concert and conference halls, exhibition galleries, coworking spaces, a first aid training center, and classrooms for student groups. Another building will include laboratories and classrooms for automotive, media, IT, and alternative energy, as well as UAV and robotics classes. A three-storeyed special training ground and a hotel are also planned. Obviously, the project does not include cultural or spiritual education.
