Canada Has Imposed Huge Sanctions on the rf

On February 24, the third anniversary of russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the Government of Canada announced a new package of sanctions against russian individuals and legal entities assisting the aggression.
Canada’s new sanctions target 76 individuals and entities in russia and beyond who are assisting the kremlin’s military-industrial base and cooperating with north korea.
Restrictions also apply to persons who used UAVs against civilian objects, including the Chernobyl NPP, and also to those responsible for forcible transfer of Ukrainian children, and figures involved in russian propaganda.
The sanctions list includes the akhmat kadyrov foundation, the rf’s aerospace forces, as well as the radiation, сhemical, and biological protection forces.
Canada also takes measures against the russian “shadow fleet”, having imposed sanctions against 109 ships, involved in transporting property and goods for the benefit of russia or a person in russia.
The list includes 92 oil tankers, 9 liquefied natural gas carriers and 8 ships involved in the transportation of weapons and related materials to russia from iran and north korea.
