China Supplies Special Chemicals, Gunpowder and Machine Tools to russia’s 20 Military Plants – Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine Oleh Ivashchenko

This was announced by Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine Oleh Ivashchenko in an interview with Ukrinform, which will be published very soon.

“There is information that China supplies machine tools, special chemicals, gunpowder and components to military enterprises. We have confirmed data on 20 russian plants,” he said.

Besides, according to Ivashchenko, at least five cases of aviation cooperation with the PRC were recorded in 2024-2025. These are equipment, spare parts, and documentation. In six cases, there were large deliveries of special chemicals.

The Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine  also said that as of the beginning of 2025, 80 % of critical electronics for russian drones are of Chinese origin. At this, there are substitutions, deception in the names, and there are bogus companies through which everything needed  for the production of microelectronics goes from China to russia.
