Greetings on the Day of the National Flag of Ukraine!

The blue-yellow flag is a symbol of our statehood, which for centuries has shown Ukrainians the way to freedom and independence. For it people were starved, sent to concentration camps, persecuted and killed.

The flag reminds us that we are children of a glorious family,  symbolizes  our national spirit and indomitable freedom. The blue-yellow flag is not only our state. It is all the world Ukrainians.

Today, smelling of sweat and blood, our flag has united the free world, becoming synonymous with  indomitability, freedom  and belief in victory.
