Ukraine and the United States have completed all necessary procedures to launch the USA- Ukraine Reconstruction Fund.
“The G7 remains committed to unwavering support for Ukraine in the defense of its territorial integrity and right to exist, as well as its freedom, sovereignty and independence on the path to a just and lasting peace. We reaffirm that, in accordance with our legal systems, russia’s sovereign assets in our jurisdictions will remain frozen until russia stops its aggression and compensates Ukraine for the damage it has caused,” the G7 Ministers of Finance and Governers of Central Banks said in a joint communiqué.
US Senate Majority Leader John Thune has said that Senators are ready to toughen sanctions against russia if it does not make a “serious proposal for an immediate ceasefire” in Ukraine.

Due to Western sanctions, russia’s largest shipping company, “sovcomflot” has announced a complete loss of revenue: in the first quarter, the company posted a loss of $393 million against a profit of $216 million a year earlier. As a result, the losses even exceeded the revenue – $278.5 million (down by 48 %).
