Minister of Foreign Affairs of Estonia Margus Tsahkna has said that his country will allocate EUR 10 million to the PURL initiative, under which weapons for Ukraine are being purchased from the United States.

“A terror state strikes again. Enough hesitation. The response must be immediate and unforgiving: escalate sanctions, impose tariffs, cut ties. Isolation must be total,” Margus Tsahkna also emphasized regarding russia’s air attack on Ukraine on September 28.

Sweden has become the first EU country to provide additional funding for the Ukraine Facility project, having allocated approximately three billion hryvnias for this purpose. Ukraine can receive these funds by fulfilling the program’s conditions.

Italy will finance the restoration of six architectural monuments in Odesa. The country’s government has allocated EUR 8.5 million for the Odesa Regional Philharmonic; EUR 7.2 million – for the National Art Museum; EUR 3.6 million – for the Museum of Western and Eastern Art; EUR 7.2 million – for the Literary Museum; EUR 4 million – for the Sontag House; EUR 2 million – for the Wedding Palace.

Ukraine is ready to provide Hungary and Slovakia with assistance in finding alternative sources of energy carriers.

The Bank of russia has extended restrictions on foreign transfers of funds belonging to non-residents from unfriendly countries from broker and trust manager accounts for another six months. The bank will suspend such transactions for the period from October 1, 2025, to April 2026. The restrictions apply to transfers from accounts of both individuals and legal entities opened with russian brokers and trust managers. These measures were introduced on April 1, 2022.
