From the beginning of 2025, Norway will move the training of Ukrainian F-16 pilots from Denmark to Portugal.
The Government of Canada through the Canadian non-governmental organization “Society for International Development Cooperation” will finance the “Project for the Development of Entrepreneurship of the Rural Population Affected by Hostilities in Ukraine”. The aim is to increase the involvement of agricultural producers in conducting business activities in Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhya and Mykolaiv regions and to ensure the economic empowerment of women in the agricultural sector.

US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen has said that the US intends to continue trying to limit russia's profits from oil sales, including a possible reduction in the price ceiling for russian oil: “if we can find ways to further reduce russian oil revenues, I think that would strengthen Ukraine's position”.
The European Union is considering the possibility of introducing sanctions against more than a dozen of individuals and three legal entities as part of the first package of measures against russia for its disinformation operations and other hybrid activities.
Latvia is investing EUR 17 million allocated by the European Commission in “smart” infrastructure on the border with the rf.

In 2025, alcoholic beverages will become more expensive in the rf. The 30% increase in prices is due to increased prices for grain and other crops, rising production costs, increased taxes and general economic conditions as a result of sanctions. At the same time, it is planned to ban discounts on alcoholic products – a number of ministries have been instructed to prepare proposals by April 15, 2025. The government of the rf has already planned an increase in the price of alcohol for three years in advance.
In 2024, the national bank of the rb turned on the printing press in order to support the ruble – in November, the broad money supply grew significantly – by 3 billion 117.3 million rubles.
In the rb, the prices of precious metals have been increased when buying them from individuals: gold in products and scrap of various grades rose in price by 7.5–9.6%.
