US President Joe Biden has decided to send the second American Patriot anti-aircraft missile complex to Ukraine.
Minister of Defense of the Netherlands Kajsa Ollongren has said that her country will give permission to Ukraine to use F-16 fighter jets to hit targets on russian territory as this corresponds to Kyiv's right to self-defense in the rf’s war of aggression. At the same time, she reported that the first F-16 fighter jets from the Netherlands will be handed over to Ukraine already this summer – right after Denmark starts delivering the planes. Her country is also considering supplying Ukraine with an additional Patriot air defense system and is allocating EUR 60 million to “develop the potential of offensive drones for Ukraine”.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway has announced the allocation of EUR 240 million to Ukraine to air defense measures. “Today, Germany has confirmed that it will finance the re-purchase of the Patriot system together with Norway, Denmark and the Netherlands, so that 100 Patriot missiles can be quickly transferred to Ukraine. Norway will allocate EUR 125 million for this cooperation”, this is also stated in the official message of the country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Norway intends to independently assemble and maintain German Leopard 2 tanks.
In Strasbourg, the European Court of Human Rights began oral hearings on the admissibility and merits of the international case “Ukraine and the Netherlands Against russia”.
“The peace summit organized in Switzerland will bring together almost 100 countries from all parts of the world to discuss how to begin the process of ending this war against Ukraine. The EU fully supports these efforts. No one wants peace more than the people of Ukraine, but lasting peace can only be achieved when it is based on the key principles of the UN Charter”, said chief of EU diplomacy Josep Borrell.
President of Poland Andrzej Duda believes that Ukraine should receive an invitation to NATO, although it will be able to become a full member only after the war.
Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orbán said that he had agreed with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg that Hungary would not block decisions in the Alliance regarding Ukraine.
During the International Ukraine Recovery Conference URC 2024 in Berlin, 12 agreements on cooperation with financial institutions and energy companies regarding the development of generation and networks in our country were concluded. An Agreement was also signed on the allocation of a EUR 30.4 million loan through KfW Bank (Germany) to support Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.

White House National Security Communications Adviser John Kirby has said that the G7 leaders at the summit will announce provision of aid to Ukraine based on the use of blocked russian assets.
New sanctions against russia will be announced at the summit of the G7 countries, which will be held in Italy from June 13 to 15. “We will announce a number of impactful new sanctions and export control measures, which will be implemented as part of a series of commitments made by the leaders of the G7 countries. The new sanctions will make it more difficult for financial intermediaries to support russia's defense and industrial base and will significantly reduce revenues in key sectors”, said John Kirby.

Financial organizations from third countries working with them will be considered as working directly with the military-industrial complex of the rf.
