The Armed Forces of Ukraine have received from Germany 5 thousand artillery shells of 155 mm caliber and 155-mm high-precision ammunition. And also – ammunition for MARS II multiple launch rocket systems, two forklifts, four mobile antenna systems and 500 SFP9 pistols.

“We must follow through on our commitments—fully and quickly. This includes delivering our armored vehicles to the battlefield and ensuring that Ukrainian servicemen get the training, spare parts and technical support they need to use these new systems as soon as possible”, U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin said after the virtual meeting of Ukraine's Multinational Defense Contact Group.

Minister of National Armed Forces of France Sébastien Lecornu announced the arrival in Ukraine of the first batch of French AMX-10 RC wheeled tanks.

Spanish Defense Minister Margarita Robles confirmed that Ukraine will receive four more Leopard 2 tanks in addition to the six promised.

The Swedish government has decided to transfer ten Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine to prepare for the upcoming counteroffensive.

President of Poland Andrzej Duda has announced the transfer of four MiG-29s to Ukraine in the coming days.

Polish government Spokesperson Piotr Müller has said that the transfer of MiG-29 combat aircrafts to Ukraine will not weaken Poland's security, but rather strengthen it.

Glencore (Global Energy Commodities and Resources), the world’s largest natural resource trader, is not going to renew the contract for the purchase of russian aluminum after it expires in 2024. This was stated by Glencore CEO Gary Nagle. Three years ago, Glencore agreed with “us rusal” to purchase 6.8 million tons of aluminum during 2020–2024. The estimated value of the contract was $ 16,3 billion, it guaranteed the russian company the sale of more than a third of the products.

The Internet giant Yandex and the electronic trading platform Ozon will no longer be able to sell their securities on the Nasdaq exchange platform. The national bank of belarus has published data on the country's external debt as of January 1, 2023. The total external debt, including state-guaranteed public sector and private sector liabilities, amounted to $ 26.94 billion. The external national debt for the year increased by $272.5 million, up to $18.5 billion. $15.09 billion came from loans, and $3.4 billion – from securities. The external debt of deposit organizations amounted to $ 4.94 billion. From the report of the national bank of belarus it follows that in February the wide money supply in the republic increased by 1 billion 904.4 million rubles. The ruble money supply increased by 953.8 million rubles. Over the year, the volume of cash in circulation increased by more than 42.5%. And compared to the beginning of 2022, the increase occurred by 54.2 %. According to financial analysts, this situation is caused by problems with bank cards, with the help of which it is now more difficult to pay in belarus. The second problem may be people's uncertainty about the future and the desire to keep money at home, because deposits in rubles do not have the same profitability. The third problem is the possible growth of the grey economy.

According to the state database of vacancies, the minsk metro (underground railway- Transl.) needs more than 400 employees. There are vacant positions of cleaners, cashiers, electricians, engine drivers, engineers of various qualifications, as well as the position of chief of the sector for ideological and social work with five- year experience.

Stocks in the Belarusian industry set a new record at the end of February. According to belstat, as of March 1, they reached 9.053 billion rubles, in particular in the manufacturing industry – 8.996 billion rubles. The level of stocks in the industry as a whole amounted to 78.2% of the average monthly production, and in the manufacturing industry – to 90.8%.
