Honoring the Memory of the Victims of the Holodomor by Leaders and Ambassadors of European Countries:
“Today we remember the millions of children, women and men starved to death during the Holodomor genocide. 90 years later, russia is again weaponising food as it pursues with its aggression of Ukraine…We continue to stand with Ukraine”, said Roberta Metsola, President of the European Parliament.
“In memory of the millions of innocent Ukrainians who died as a result of the Holodomor 90 years ago, today and every day we stand shoulder to shoulder with Ukraine”, said the USA’s Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink.
“... Today in Kyiv I honoured Holodomor's victims, millions of Ukrainians who perished because of deliberate mass famine - a genocide perpetrated by the soviets”, stated Lithuanian Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė.
“... We must defeat stalin's successors in order to avoid similar tragedies in the future”, said President of Latvia Edgars Rinkēvičs.
“.. Now the rf is again trying to annihilate Ukraine. Last night's ruthless drone attack was another case in point. But russia will again fail”, said Katarína Mathernová, Ambassador of the European Union to Ukraine.
“I laid a wreath at the Holodomor memorial on Mykhailivska Square in Kyiv to honour the memory of the millions of Ukrainians who were starved to death in artificial soviet famines 90 years ago. We will remember them”, said Martin Harris, Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Ukraine.
“... There should be no more room for genocide, imperialism and dictatorship in Europe. Germany stands firmly on Ukraine's side”, Germany’s Embassy in Ukraine stated.
“Following a night that saw waves of russian drones targeting Kyiv, I was honoured to take part in the official Holodomor commemoration ceremony in memory of the millions of Ukrainians who starved to death during the famines organized by stalin”, said Ambassador of France Gaël Veyssiere.
“Air defences working actively in Kyiv all night long... Thank you to Ukraine’s air defenders”, said US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink regarding the attack by russian drones on the night of Saturday, November 25.
Canada will transfer more than 11,000 assault rifles and more than 9 million rounds of ammunition to Ukraine.
The government and parliamentary majority of Denmark have agreed on additional funding for the fund that finances support for Ukraine in the amount of DKK 2.3 billion (€308 million) in 2023 and DKK 23.5 billion (€3.15 billion) for 2025-2027.
The Federal Council of Germany (Bundesrat, the Upper House of Parliament) has approved an order from the Federal Ministry of the Interior to extend temporary protection for refugees from Ukraine for another year, until March 2025.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany Annalena Baerbock is confident that “Ukraine will strengthen the EU in the foreseeable future”.
President of Latvia Edgars Rinkēvičs believes that the European Union, despite the opposition of individual member states, will eventually make all positive decisions for Ukraine. At the same time, Rinkēvičs said that Latvia’s government had allocated EUR 5 million for the reconstruction of Chernihiv region after hostilities in 2023 and intends to allocate the same amount next year.
During the full-scale war, Australia has provided almost 1 billion Australian dollars in aid to Ukraine.
According to the results of 8 months of 2023, Ukraine ranks third among suppliers of agricultural products to the European Union.
Lithuania will allocate EUR 2 million by the end of the year as part of the Grain from Ukraine initiative, and is also ready to increase the transit capacity of Baltic ports for Ukrainian exports.
President of the Swiss Confederation Alain Berset has said that his country supports President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s Peace Formula and joins the Grain from Ukraine initiative to ensure food security in the world.

Canada and the European Union have stated the need for “decisive progress” in using income from frozen russian assets to finance Ukraine, according to a joint statement following the Canada-EU summit. Moldova has joined the EU’s seven packages of sanctions against russia, including those introduced back in 2014: the national sanctions list includes russian banks, political parties, military enterprises, construction companies, as well as individuals and legal entities from Iran that produced equipment or supplied UAVs for the war against Ukraine. Sanctions have also been imposed on several russian businessmen from putin's environment (alisher usmanov, oleg deripaska, arkady rotenberg, gennady timchenko, and others), members of the government (including defense minister sergei shoigu), former commanders of the russian army who fought against Ukraine (including sergei surovikin), and representatives of the occupying authorities in the territories of Ukraine temporarily occupied by the rf.
Due to international sanctions against its aviation industry, russia has lost 76 passenger planes, said minister of transport of the rf savelyev.

Poland again accused the belarusian services of facilitating illegal migration. “Foreigners arrive on the territory of belarus from russia, and they get to the border region with Poland thanks to the help of the belarusian services”, stated the Polish Border Guard Service. Yesterday, 35 foreigners tried to illegally enter the EU countries from belarus.
Georgia did not allow 21.5 tons of belarusian potatoes into the country. During the inspection and laboratory analysis, “harmful organisms” were found in the cargo. A truck with potatoes was returned to belarus.
russian entrepreneurs complained to the federal antimonopoly service (fas) of the rf about dumping by belarusian milk producers. saratov farmers accuse large enterprises of the region of purchasing belarusian milk at significantly reduced prices, which really undermines their own position in the market, causing significant losses.
In belarus in the first half of this year, 402 counterfeit banknotes were found. The number of counterfeit US dollars increased by 0.6%, and the number of euros doubled. In total, 2,735 counterfeit banknotes were detected in 2020 through the first half of 2023. Most of detected fakes were US dollars – 1,849 banknotes.
