US President Joe Biden's administration has lifted the de facto ban on US military contractors working in Ukraine to maintain and repair equipment provided to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

UK Secretary of State for Defence John Healey has pointed out that in October, russian troops’ losses on the battlefield in Ukraine reached a new high.

Starting December 1, tariffs for freight transportation in the rf will increase by 13.8%, and for passenger transportation – by 11.6%. Tariffs for the transportation of containers, construction goods and empty railway wagons will also increase. Besides, tariffs will be tied to the industrial inflation rate.

The ministry of taxes and duties of the rb has announced “control measures” that have been launched across the country and will last until the end of 2024. This means controlling belarusian shops and other businesses that accept cash from belarusians.

By November 15, belarusians have to have paid property taxes for their first flat, land, and transportation. Voluntarily unpaid taxes will be collected through the courts. A penalty is charged for each calendar day of delay. Non-payment or incomplete payment is subject to a fine of 15% of the unpaid tax amount, but not less than 0.5 of the base amount (20 rubles), the ministry of taxes and duties of the rb has warned.
